On the right side of your screen, you'll see the Chats icon 
when this secure chat module is active in your study.
By clicking on this, an overview of all Chats within the program will appear.
Icon | Explanation |
| Via the button you can start a new chat. The following types are supported:

| There are one or more unread messages. |
| Group chat with your colleagues (without participants) |
| One on one chat with another user (not patient or participant) |
| Chat with a participant/patient. Other users, other than the participant, can also read along if they are linked to the program and have the permission to do so. Permissions are distributed by the administrator. |
| Adding an attachment, such as a photo or document. |
| By clicking on this button you can send a message. |
