Introduction
Your Research continuously develops its software to improve functionality and user-friendliness. New versions of Your Research software often include improved features, bug fixes, and security updates, which makes using the software easier and safer.

Maintenance
Your Research performs continuous maintenance on its software for the following reasons:
- To fix bugs and errors: Regular maintenance allows for the identification and fixing of any bugs or errors in the software, which can improve overall performance and user experience.
- To ensure compatibility with new hardware and software: As new hardware is released, it is important to ensure that the software is compatible. This can be done through regular maintenance updates.
- To improve security: Cybersecurity threats are constantly evolving, and it is important to keep software updated to protect against these threats. Maintenance updates often include security patches to help protect against potential vulnerabilities.
- To improve functionality: Maintenance updates can also include new features or improvements to existing ones, which can enhance the user experience and improve the software’s overall functionality.
- To extend the life of the software: Regular maintenance can help extend the life of the software by ensuring that it remains up-to-date and relevant. This can help save money by avoiding the need to replace the software.

Time-out duration | For safety reasons, Your Research automatically logs out after 15 minutes. Based on user wishes, this can now be customized per study. |
Features
Your Research develops new features for users because we want study teams to perform research processes and tasks more efficiently and effectively. In this release, the following activities have been carried out:

New design | A completely new User Interface for Your Research Portal users. |
Contact log | In the new design environment, it’s possible to add a note (contact log) to a specific participant |
Roles & Rights | Possible to create your own role names, based on a system role template, configure them by yourself and assign them to users |
Privacy permissions | Privacy data (gender, last name, birthdate, phone number, and email address) can be hidden from a user or role based on a permission |
Export function | Instead of a large combined XML or CSV file, we introduced a new export feature, where you can config your own tables and attributes and also the frequency and desired output format. |
CRF | The light version of the CRF has now been upgraded to a full version. Within the CRF it is now possible to perform Source Data Validation, post-Data Clarification Requests, mark forms or questions as "Missed," add comments at the question and form level, and view the audit at the question level. Forms can also be signed and locked. |
