Add, Edit, Delete and Merge group

Add:

To add a new group to the system, a user with permission to add a group, can press the "Add" button on the group part. On the new window the appears, the user provides basic details such as name, email, description, start date, type, countries, and program. After pressing the save button, the group has been added to the system and can be viewed in the grid. Selecting the eye icon in the group grid of the specific group opens a new window with the entered details.


Edit:

Users with the permission to edit a group, can click on the pencil icon, and the user can modify the name, email address, description, dates, type. It is also possible to add documents to the group. When viewing it again, the new details of the group are visible. Via the audits tab the changes that are made to the group are visible.,


Delete:

Users with permission to delete a group, can select a group and can use the "Delete group" action that's available after pressing the "Bulk actions" button at the top of the group grid. After selecting the delete option, the system prompts for confirmation. When the user confirms the deletion, the system sets the end date for the group, indicating that it is no longer active or usable. The group is marked as inactive but remains in the system for historical reference and data integrity purposes.


Merge:

Users with permission to merge a group, can select a group that needs to be merged and can use the "Merge group" action that's available after pressing the "Bulk actions" button at the top of the group grid. On the new window that appears, the user selects the group that needs to be merged in to the selected group. After selecting the save button, the system prompts for confirmation. When the user confirms the merging, the system sets the end date for the group, indicating that it is no longer active or usable. The group is marked as inactive but remains in the system for historical reference and data integrity purposes. The system updates all associations of the merged group with programs, countries, organizations, departments, contacts, and questionnaires.
