Assign Organization, country, department or contact person to a group, and delete the assigned Organization, country, department, or contact person from the group.
Assign group to an organization
To assign a group to an organization, country, department or contactperson, a user with permission to assign a group, can select a group and choose, via the bulk actions button, an action to be performed. For example, assign organization to a group. When selecting the option a new window pops up and shows all the organizations that are connected to the logged- in user but are not yet connected to the selected group. After selecting an organization and press save, the organization is added to the group. To assign a group to a country, the user can choose the assign country option from the bulk actions. Again a new window pops up which shows all the countries that are connected to the same program as the logged-in user but are not yet connected to the selected group. After selecting a country and pressing save, the group is added to the country which is directly visible in the grid.
Assign contact person to group
To assign a contact person to a group, the user can choose the assign contact person option from the bulk actions. Again a new window pops up which shows all the contact persons that are connected to the same program as the logged-in user but are not yet connected to the selected group. After selecting a contact person and press save, the contact person is added to the group which is directly visible in the grid.
Delete
To delete, for example, a country from a group, the user can choose the Delete assigned country option from the bulk actions. Again a new window pops up which shows all the assigned countries. After selecting a country and pressing save, the country is deleted from the group which is directly visible in the grid.
The process for using the 'assign' and 'delete assign' options for other categories follows the same steps as those demonstrated.
