Through Permissions, it is possible to configure roles and rights. Within Your Research, you can create new roles, duplicate existing roles, and/or modify them within the relevant study database.
A role can be linked to the following authorization levels with their specific properties:
Study Administrator:
- Can view participants belonging to the site or sites to which this person is linked, but not personal data.
- If permission is granted, this person can only create accounts for other roles within the authorization level "StudyAdministrator", "Principal Investigator", "Main Researcher", and/or "Local Researcher".
Principal Investigator:
- Can view participants belonging to the site or sites to which this person is linked.
- If permission is granted, this person can only create accounts for other roles within the authorization level "Principal Investigator", "Main Researcher", and/or "Local Researcher".
Main Researcher:
- Can view participants belonging to the site or sites to which this person is linked.
- If permission is granted, this person can only create accounts for roles within the authorization level "Local Researcher".
Local Researcher:
- Can only view participants linked to him or her.
- Cannot create accounts.
